The only way of finding the limits of possible, is by going beyond them, into the impossible!  Our instructors are ready to infuse you with their knowledge, skills, and experience to provide you the best education and training possible.  As a Pivot Point Member School, our curriculum is designed to provide a sense of consistency and structure.  We will get you through basics and teach you what you will need to know to pass the State Board Examinations.  The next level of education here at Velvet Touch will help you hone in on your individual skills and creativity and inspire you to go beyond the limits of your imagination.  Our instructors will help you meet each milestone you wish to achieve!

Cosmetology Program

The Velvet Touch Cosmetology Program consists of 2,000 hours of theory and practical training in the arts and sciences of hairstyling, hair cutting, coloring, finger waving, braiding/free styling, permanent waves, bleaching, chemical hair relaxing, thermal styling, finishing techniques, nail and skin care, make-up application, anatomy, chemistry, bacteriology and sanitation, professionalism, retailing, equipment care and salon management.  ($12,000)*

Nail Technology Program

The Velvet Touch Nail Technology Program consists of 600 hours of theory and practical training in the arts and sciences of manicuring, pedicuring, artificial nail enhancement (i.e. acrylics, gels, wraps), massage, nail disorders, bacteriology and sanitation, professionalism, retailing, equipment care, anatomy and physiology, chemistry and salon management. ($4,500)*

Instructor Programs

The Velvet Touch Instructor Program offers two courses of instruction to meet the needs of all our future instructors. 

       The first course consists of 500 hours of theory and practical training in the art of teaching.  This course is available for those who have been licensed for two (2) or more years. ($2,500)*

       The second course consists of 1,000 hours of theory and practical training in the arts of teaching.  This course is available for those who have been licensed for less then two (2) years. ($3,500)*
