The Velvet Touch Academy offers complete courses in cosmetology, nail technology and instructor training.  At our brand new facility filled with state of the art equipment, we have carefully designed the school to provide an outstanding education in a salon-type atmosphere.  The facility includes a full retail center, a one of a kind color bar, two areas for cosmetology, a private wash bowl room, a large nail technology room with a built-in spa pedicure bench, two large classrooms, a dispense/laundry room, a break room and an outside patio area.  Education at Velvet Touch is centered around the student and their needs. About the Owner

Jennifer Rodgers graduated from California State University Fullerton with her Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Jennifer has 15 years of experience in the accounting industry. She spent these years working for a reputable public accounting firm, where she mastered her skills in auditing multi-million dollar companies, preparing and reviewing multi-entity tax returns along with acting as a financial analyst for various companies. Jennifer then spent the next couple of years settling down with her family in the State of Idaho where she acquired her license as a nail technician.  She also maintains a small accounting company on the side and is working towards acquiring her cosmetology license.  As President and Director of Operations, Jennifer oversees Academy admissions, enrollment and all financial matters.
